The Final Countdown

Ok, my birthday is over. It’s time for me to seriously trust the Lord to be all that I believe Him to be to help me get healthy and meet my goal next year. Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
I’m going to try journaling a lot more here too.
I love you all and pray you all are doing well.
96 pounds to lose by October 27, 2017. Treadmill, water, clean eating, journaling, scripture memorization, and balance….I need to get to know you more. Junk food, negative thoughts get lost!

Tuesday Nights

The Hair On The Back Of My Neck

The Hair On The Back Of My Neck
Whether the bear stands up and gnarls his teeth,

slamming its paws left and right;

Or the eagle raises his pinions to fly-

Looking forward to the effortless flight;

Perhaps it’s the moment the grizzly enters the cave,

to put away his claws for a season;

Maybe it’s the time the bird finds its nest-

Eaglets are the precious reason.

I’m eager to learn from God’s creatures , No matter how frightening or majestic they may be-

For God has called us to Love;

And this is why we are Free.

On A Mission For Missions

These will be going to a missions auction this weekend and st the end of this month 💞

The Gate From Here

The Gate From Here
Entering a place walled with shadows;

Flashes of light blind.

Afraid of not knowing where I’m headed-

Your direction eases my mind.

Trust; a gentle whisper from a white coat-

floating is not to be feared…

It can be painful having too many birthdays-

Year…after year… after year.

Just be careful of too many flashes…..

Like getting your picture taken;

A floater’s Rain is also dangerous-

For An appointment you will be making.

Exercise your right to lower

the roof of your red blood cells;

Heat yourself with movement to shrink

The potassium blanket as well.

Don’t eat your words, but taste and see

A healthy lifestyle awaits;

Don’t become a pillar of salt..

Be selective what will go on your plate.

If you follow the Narrow Path

And not get lost like Alice on the wide,

You’ll dance Forever at The Feast,

When you get to the other side.
