It’s football, not a fight;

Dear friends are sitting together

To make America right.

Both have different views

About how our nation should be-

Each stand for what they believe in:

To keep America free.

Yet what is freedom really?

To force our views on others?

To truly go against what we want …

And hate our sisters and brothers?

Hate is such a strong word-

But isn’t that what we do?

We look past the beliefs,

And hate people for points of view.

Couldn’t we instead be like Jesus,

And listen to their heart…

And make America great again

With a brand new start?

Begin with a game of football-

Or something that fancies your delight;

Become friends sitting together

To make America right.

But I am not afraid;

A mighty peace fills me;

God is in this place.

Yet my mind is racing-

What’s my Father’s will?

Nothing can I see;

Except the dreams that inspire

Jesus set me free!

Reminded of my past;

From the moment of birth,

To the very last.

Reminded of God’s Truth

That brings sweet Victory;

Now What am I going to do?

Watching the Morning slice with Light

Reminding me it’s time to get up

And walk The Path that’s Right

The Hair On The Back Of My Neck
Whether the bear stands up and gnarls his teeth, 

slamming its paws left and right;

Or the eagle raises his pinions to fly-

Looking forward to the effortless flight;

Perhaps it’s the moment the grizzly enters the cave, 

to put away his claws for a season;

Maybe it’s the time the bird finds its nest-

Eaglets are the precious reason.

I’m eager to learn from God’s creatures , No matter how frightening or majestic they may be-

For God has called us to Love;

And this is why we are Free.

Oh, Pinions

Oh, Pinions!
I clipped my wings so I could fly;

Soar higher than before. 

My focus has moved to my wing’s length-

I’m stuck here on the floor.
My gaze weighs so heavy 

That it pulls unwanted thoughts in…

Moving me deeper in this cage;

My head’s beginning to swim!
I was meant to fly ; even past 

Intimidating Mountains that block the Sun.

So watch me now as I take the plunge;

Allowing my feathers to be undone-
For it’s not by my strength the wind carries me great distances through the sky;

Jesus remind me that You’re holding me

As You teach me how to fly.

Walk The Walk

I want to share with everyone that we can have surpassing peace, exploding joy, incomparable strength and all we need to face our days 💞 
Yet I am nervous. I know there are such severe trials that have left people hurting with what seems beyond repair. I wanna say I understand, but in reality I truly don’t because I’ve only walked in my shoes. I KNOW what God HAS brought me through….. And there were times that I thought God could do it differently and much better, but after a while I saw why He chose the directions He’s taken me. Those who know me see how I’ve grown. It is because I have trusted Christ, even when I didn’t want to. I have far to go as far as trusting Christ, but I love the change He’s given me. I want to see people healed, lives changed and wars ended 💕

Do you feel the scars?

Sometimes they hurt when I feel no one cares, but I’ll NEVER give up the war.

Wondering if tonight you’ll fall

Because your strength is all gone.

Take My hands and we’ll walk together 

For this war has been already won!

Giving a hand to help another up,

To help them find their call;

Round the clock you are giving, but

Who will be there when you fall?

Constantly being the eyes for us-

That we may stand on two feet;

All the time you’re going and doing-

Who will help you walk The Street?

Precious friend at times you might feel

Something’s missing to make you whole,

Because you don’t have the strength right now….

I want you to know:

Jesus has your back;

He’s ears when no one is around –

He will comfort your broken heart;

Pick you up when you’re upside down.

He will dry your eyes as you look through His;

Never leaving you behind-

God understands all your stresses….

He will help you to unwind.

So, just fall into His arms and just let go –

He will catch you and hold you tight!

Never alone are you in this world-

The Holy Spirit will help you fight!
