Football Anyone?

Football Anyone?

Cowboys and the Packers-

It’s football, not a fight;

Dear friends are sitting together

To make America right.

Both have different views

About how our nation should be-

Each stand for what they believe in:

To keep America free.

Yet what is freedom really?

To force our views on others?

To truly go against what we want …

And hate our sisters and brothers?

Hate is such a strong word-

But isn’t that what we do?

We look past the beliefs,

And hate people for points of view.

Couldn’t we instead be like Jesus,

And listen to their heart…

And make America great again

With a brand new start?

Begin with a game of football-

Or something that fancies your delight;

Become friends sitting together

To make America right.

A Generational Treasure

What Shall You Then Say?

It is Saturday. The elections are over and so is Thanksgiving. I’m preparing to take an eschatology test on Tuesday. Eschatology is the study of the end times events.
My textbook states on page 35 of ‘eschatology: a study of things to come’-

“in the past God spoke… Through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through him he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word” (Hebrews 1:1-3)
I must ask myself “How am I reflecting Christ?”
My textbook continues:
Do not let many details of end-time prophecy take your mind off your friendship and relationship with this incomparable Christ. He loves each of us so much that he left his glorious abode, came down to live as one of us, and To die that we might be set free from the bondage of sin. What a wonderful, wonderful Savior!”
I am pondering how blessed I am. Yet, so many times I’ve been so frustrated with my husband (i’m not going to name his mistakes). During those times I spent too much time and energy on being mad at him; for a time that fire consumed me, it blinded me of what I am truly blessed with-my husband loves me! I know there are things I do that he hates, but what does it truly matter? We both have our differences, and we are not God. It’s so perfect that I am not God because I judge, hate, and criticize far too quickly! Yet God, he loves me …. knowing my mistakes. He wants me to forgive quickly because, despite what I am fool to believe, life is very short! Besides, I may learn something through trying to understand my husband.
How dare I try to think that I am better than my husband; that I can be furious with him because of a mistake! Am I perfect? No. I don’t have enough fingers to count my mistakes. Perhaps instead of adding mistakes, I should use my hands to hold my hubby, to hug him for loving me the way I am. Jesus did. He stretched out his arms because of love. It’s why he came to this earth. Not to teach us to take sides, to build walls and wage war. Jesus came to give us love.
The same Savior who made a way for me, will one day come back for me. Will he find me full of hate and criticism, full of judgment? Or will I mirror the same love and forgiveness Christ has shown me?
So I must ask myself, if I can’t trust God to help me forgive my husband now whom God gave to me, how Can I expect God to help me through to the very End?
Will I be with those in anguish, weeping, and gnashing their teeth (Matthew 22:13) because I allowed my heart to be full of hate, jealousy and fear? Or will will I be able to rejoice in Heaven because I was victorious because I choose to mirror Christ (Revelation 21:7)?
Jesus, we need you!!

Saturday stew 10

Jesus, I thank You for everything You have done, that nothing we can do or have done will ever change the limitless love that You have for us ❤

Tonight I was given an invaluable gift I want to share with you ❤

Yellow – all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. Romans 3:23

Black – the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Red – God provides His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

White – For by grace you are saved, through faith and it is not from yourselves; it is a gift from God-not from works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Green – If you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in salvation . Romans 10:9-10

If you've never had a personal relationship with Jesus, I invite you to pray with me now .

Remember we have all fallen …and it is the wages , something we earn is death…. But Jesus brings us the gift of Salvation, LIFE ❤

All we do is say " Jesus I have sinned , I have done wrong. Apart from You , I deserve death. I thank You for paying my debt. I repent , I need You to come into my life and fill me anew each day . You alone are Lord Jesus ❤ Amen <3"

Beside Noah

My friend OM posted this post, asking “If you could be an animal for a day what would it be?” You may click the link to find his answer, along with many other answers.

The first answer quickly to roll off the tip of my tongue would be an elephant because of their amazing memory and size, their strength and wrinkles….oooohhh!! Their long noses!!

But like I said in his post, the butterfly is so light. It can be carried by the wind, wearing such beautiful colors!!

The cheetah’s speed would be wildly awesome to experience, especially after a stressful moment where I just want to run and run and run with such radiant colors!!

When I was a child I would collect slugs. Now I think they are gross to hold…but I still think they are fun to watch…to be able to take my time, as slow as possible, enjoying nothing…yet….everything.

To have the coat of a giraffe with my neck held WAY HIGH, strolling silently with such nobility….greeting birds at the tops of trees.

The mole, a subterranean animal, stays underground most of the time and uses very little air…reusing its own air…and doesn’t rely on its vision because it’s underground a lot. If I had to depend on another part of me to get around……incredible!!! This little one is a real go getter!!!

To have the whale’s call; to float through the ocean….listening to the music of the deep….I’ve never been down there actually…but I’m sure it’s amazing 😉

To be a mouse that can run and hide quickly, reach places that others couldn’t….

A Liger loves socializing and has a beautiful sleek coat ….to have the paws and nails….

Oh, the majestic bald eagle, with its wing spans commanding the wind to carry it higher, only to drop stories into the deep water for a meal!

The polar bears with their ice fishing!! I LOVE FISHING!!!!

This may sound horrid….but I thought about a rattlesnake…I know, I know, but God made them too…I thought about the desert sands, to be able to slither across…the fangs and rattle….ok, ok….

1 Corinthians 12: 12 The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body–whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free–and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14 Now the body is not made up of one part but of many. 15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19 If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, but one body. 21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 22 On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24 while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

With that being said, each and every creature, every living being-from those listed-to everyone not on the page (which….is quite a lot!!!), everyone is INCREDIBLE!! UNIQUE!! AWESOME!! VOGUE!! GQ!!

But, here’s the thing…if I’m busy being any of these SO VERY TOTALLY SPECTACULAR, REMARKABLE, IRREPLACABLE, EXCLUSIVE creations….then….who’s going to be me?

The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Psalm 139: 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, 16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. 17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.

I praise God for each and every one of you….I read  through your blogs, they are incredible!! Inspiring!! Amazing!!  But I am also thankful that He has created me 😉 Praise God ❤

These Foggy Moments

You can take My hand; trust Me
to lead you past what frightens you;
I won’t lead you astray.
Shadows from the past
may whisper lies,
but strength is found in Truth.
Time is our friend,
who’s voice promises to be
tender footprints into the fog.

Here is another I wanted to share with you ❤

Love you all!!

Mandisa – Music Inspired By The Story

I’m Yours

Beside my King, I will face my fears
that attempt to pull me down and rape me.
Beside my King, I will hold His mighty sword, though my knees tremble.
For as the deadly beast shakes the earth with his thundering growl;
Though he may have threatened me with the claws of his grip;
all of these nightmares pale in comparison to what it will be like to be standing before my King.

Holding Hands

If I lit a candle,
would you step away,
after months of walking;
sharing many games of play?
Would you turn your back on me
because you saw the color of my eyes;
feeling like I wasn’t a friend at all;
just a bunch of lies?
Or will you take this candle
and peer into my heart;
a monster doesn’t live here …
please show me who you are.
