Why doesn’t a farmer wait by a seed to watch it grow?
Or dig it up to see if it is breathing?
How painful it is to wait!
The birds tease with their song –
I’ll go take a nap.

I never thought about the concept of not watching seeds grow. In reflection, I discovered that in my own life I never trust seeds to grow. That unless I wait next to it, it wont happen. But, like watching plants grow, if we watch them all the time, we never get to see them grow.

I had a daycare and it was awesome watching the seeds grow for our garden! I couldn’t wait!!!! I dug them up just about every day almost…. They survived …. But were small.
