The Final Countdown

Ok, my birthday is over. It’s time for me to seriously trust the Lord to be all that I believe Him to be to help me get healthy and meet my goal next year. Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. 
I’m going to try journaling a lot more here too.
I love you all and pray you all are doing well.
96 pounds to lose by October 27, 2017. Treadmill, water, clean eating, journaling, scripture memorization, and balance….I need to get to know you more. Junk food, negative thoughts get lost!

As if to sew you together;

Seeing many patients has taken you

Through all kinds of weather.
Hearts radically beating; temperatures rise; Broken bones; these are just the top-

Forever conquering emergencies;

But you don’t ever give up.

I know your strength isn’t in medicine

Or any type of “craze”.

I believe God’s plan is directing you

So, when brain cramps are confusing you;

Listening for more than a beat…finding the pattern.

The Medicine Doctor

It has been far too long since I have written a post! Sure, I have posted a few awesome selections, yet….please forgive me for staying away. I have been sick and am still sick, but I have the most awesome doctors taking care of me, along with countless people praying for me, not to mention a TOTALLY COOL God healing me too. As I have in the past, my focus was on my storm, and not on the One who could calm my storm.

 

I have missed looking through your eyes, reading your posts and sharing my world with you. Saturday Stews have not been warming hearts as they should be or Flashback Fridays….those are always fun and too many have passed.

 

You all are such a beautiful treasure worth far beyond any material possession this earth has to offer and I look forward to getting to know each of you as much as I can 🙂
